Los Angeles based fashion stylist and creative expert Kai Aiyub is no stranger to the world of fashion and red carpet glitterati.
Born in Fiji but bred in Australia, Aiyub made an instant impact over 13 years ago when he knew his dream of being in fashion. From working as beauty and fashion editor for 9to5 magazine, wardrobe stylist on season 2 of Australian Idol and being a sought after celebrity stylist, Kai has the midas touch of glamour & style.
In 2007, Kai began his television career on Network Seven when he was chosen by television legend Adam Boland himself to be a fashion regular on and the newly launched, ‘The Morning Show”. He was also appointed Fashion Editor for Sunrise, a year after. Kai quickly became a popular staple with his weekly fashion segments and began to regularly contribute to other shows such as X-Factor’s Extra Factor, Today Tonight and Seven News. Kai has also contributed to Network Nine’s A Current Affair.
Kai also became an expert for budget fashion lines make-overs and consumer fashion products.
In 2009, along with Warner Bros (Australia) and department store BIG W, Kai launched and served as Creative Director for “GOSSIP GIRL COLLECTIONS by KAI AIYUB”. The Line became a top selling brand that showcased his keen eye for design, fit and quality.
Then in 2012, saw the joint collaboration with international silver jewellery company ‘MAGNOLIA SILVER”. The “Kai Aiyub for Magnolia Silver” line became an instant hit with a massive launch and pre-ordered sales.
Now living and working in Los Angeles, Kai has already made his mark by working with such talented names such as CSI Miami's Adam Rodriguez, Allison Janney, Miranda Kerr, Katherine Kelly Lang and style Icon Mischa Barton. In 2014, he started reporting for Network 10 (Australia) new breakfast shows, WAKEUP and Studio10. Covering red carpet glamour, celebrity at-home stories and the latest in lifestyle topics. He's been featured on Entertainment Tonight and E! News.
Kai has also worked as a stylist for TORY BURCH, ZADIG & VOLTAIRE, L'AGENCE and FRAME Denim where he has quickly gained the rep of Denim Guru.
